Bobby Podesta, June 20. And now, Ladies and Gentlemen, please put your hands together and give a big round of applause to the one and only Bobby Podesta!
Yes, it’s the Bobby Podesta, the incredible cartoonist who works for PIXAR. He took part in the production of such blockbusters as A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc., and Finding Nemo.
Last year, he started his webcomic Six Foot Six Year Old, of which the first collection in book form will appear in early August. It’s an amazing classic semi-autobiographic (that’s my own assumption, though) black-and-white comic strip featuring the characters you see above.
Please pay attention to the terrific details in Bobby’s guest strip, like the way he draws the figures and the balloons differently for my character and for the SFSYO characters.
And of course, the strip reminds us of the exported to Canada), and the fact that Kant sounds like can’t, but… only in English. If you pronounce it the German way, it sounds a little different, as shown and discussed elsewhere.
Bobby, thank you so much for this great guest strip, and all the work and thought you put in it, it’s simply terrific! Or, in the words of a good friend of mine, you just gotta love it!
